You will not need a sliding hitch like the B&W Companion # BWRVK3770 you currently have. A sliding hitch is needed on a short bed truck because of the positioning of where the hitch will be mounted, in relation to the cab of your truck and it being too close to each other. Great question! You can actually purchase the 2019 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali with a factory puck package (that sits flush with your truck bed) or there are aftermarket options for using a 5th wheel hitch as well (which are offered with rails above or below the bed). If you decide to go aftermarket then I do recommend getting rails that sit below the bed because then when you aren't towing your 5th wheel hitch you have full access to your truck bed.

I may have a solution that will work for you, but there are no fifth wheel hitches compatible with the B&W gooseneck hitch with a weight capacity over 20,000 lbs. If you did not want to completely remove the gooseneck hitch, then you could use a fifth-wheel-to-gooseneck coupler adapter like the Ranch Hitch Adapter, # AM3100.
